Happy New Year!-January Updates

Happy Halloween!-October Updates

In the past few weeks, large amounts of information has been added to the Walters family page. Many pictures and histories have been placed on this site for that family, due to requests from family members. Much of the rest of this site has received minor changes and updates also. I've changed the menu at the top to have a favorites link, so you all can add whatever page you're on to your favorites. Thanks for your interest. If you have any requests for what ancestor I should do next, just let me know. I'll be glad to put that at the top of the list. Also please let me know if you have anything to add.

A reunion was recently held for descendants of William Burgess and Violate Stockwell. Available since that reunion is a new book discussing the lives of William, Violate, their descendants, and their ancestors. To obtain more information on ordering this book, please contact me.

Welcome to my newly-redesigned homepage. I hope it works out for everyone. It probably looks a lot more boring and not as exciting. That's because I wrote the page all by myself. Today I updated my webpages and made them consistant with html standards. Firefox and other alternative browser users, should now see the site perfectly fine. Also there are several updated pages to look at under "What's New".

You may notice another big change to my website. It is now located fully on Our Family Legacy. I plan to keep it here instead of on freepages. I have redesigned my homepage to be more user-friendly and to enable people to find what they want faster. Now on the homepage you can see this message, links to the family pages, a search box, a quote, and some other links. I'm in the process of working on family pages now. Stephen Oran Stoddard and Violet Chidester's page is now updated along with the page for Oscar Orlondo Stoddard and Elizabeth Taylor. I hope this site is useful to you. Good luck!

Lately I've been getting more people responding to my sites. I recently had a request about the Stoddard family and so that is probably where I am going to start. I have spent today trying to make all of these pages work well in Firefox as well and Internet Explorer. I've also started adding more histories. So far, I've added pictures and documents for Stephen Oran Stoddard and Violet Chidester. I plan on creating more today and over the next few days.

Today I changed many of the links on my site to make it easier to maintain and correct. The homepage is the same, but everything else is different. Everything can still be accessed in the same way as before using the links above. I also added a link to the Google SafeSearch so people can search straight from this site. If you want to search this very site, it will still be best to use the search options on the bottom of the main pages.

I have been working fairly hard the last while to get as many genealogies and histories as I can for my ancestors. I hope to get as many of them online as possible, as soon as possible. I'm not sure how long it will take, but hopefully not too long. I was able to get to this site from Google at least once, which made me happy. I hope that soon all of this website will be covered by Google. In the meantime it would be best to use the search icon at the bottom of the main pages. I've also changed the design of the front page some. I just like something different every once in a while.

Today I added links to my tribal pages site and Randall's tribal pages site. These web sites can only be accessed by password, until I decide otherwise. The information on the tribal pages website is much more incomplete, but it is also much easier to view than the other lines links. The information from these pages can all be found on this site, but if you really want to view the tribal pages, just let me know and I will let you on. There are also several new people on the Histories page that you can try out. I have tried to gather as much information that I can about the Stoddard line and branches and a few other people on different lines. To see it all just click on histories. Thanks for coming.

I have started to do a lot more on the Histories page. So far I have added a page for Esaias Edwards, and hope to be able to do a lot more soon. I am reformatting my pages for Word so they will be easier to create and edit.
